Copper Box Solar
Located in Montgomery County, Indiana, this 200-megawatt project is expected to generate enough affordable and renewable energy to power the equivalent of more than 32,000 homes annually.
The proposed solar farm, located on approximately 1,800 acres of privately owned land, will protect and conserve the local environment with carefully designed precision. The project is also designed to accommodate using the land for additional agricultural purposes such as crop rotation, soil enrichment and pollinator habitat enhancement, thereby increasing the overall productivity of the solar farm’s footprint.
